Todd Christopher (Instruction Shuttle) is an abstract/experimental/ambient electronic musisican based in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He has been described (by his mom) as the "David Lynch of sound
manipulation". Todd has produced hundreds of works that he releases via eps on Zenapolae Records and his own imprint, Astromass Recordings (compact discs distributed by mp3.com). His sonic laboratory sits in his spare bedroom and overlooks a beautiful gravel parking lot and a few trees. The Instruction Shuttle states his influences and inspirations being "urban sprawl, wilderness excursion, abstraction in sonic creation, and paranoia", which all can be verified in his dark washes of sound layers and his ethereal transitions and movements. Todd has a B.S. in Recording Industry Technology (production and application) from the University of Middle Tennessee (1998) and works full-time nights at a hotel.....where he sits with his notebook computer twaeking away at sound files!
