Seaweed Soup is a term used to describe the music that my friends and I create live. A lot of people have been a part of Seaweed Soup over the years including Michael Hayden, Ian Pullman and Clay Emerson.
It started about 3 years ago with the purchase of a $50 MX-65 keyboard. The music is an attempt to use sound to describe feeling or emotion. Although it is based on improvisation, we aim to create a greater message, or flow of emotion, one that is only experienced when the piece is heard in its entirety.
We are purists that believe in the use of analog equipment, both manufactured and homemade.
