Chris spins "organictriphopjazzydrum&bass" under the name dj Crasta, and was a familiar face at Silk City Saturday nights where he spn at "Grass" (the eclectic dance night at Silk).

Chris completed his first full length album under the name Tleilaxu (the name of Frank Herbert's DUNE scientists). It was released on Sean O'Neals Fuzzybox label to acclaim from his Mom and friends. He was tweaking those tracks for years! Chris is also the man behind the Eclectia series at Fluid and the 700 Club in 1998 (which helped inspire the Consortium's own series Gate to Moonabase Alpha). It was that series which opened the doors for more ambient and experimental music at the 700 Club featuring Slipping into Sublimnity and the now defunct Mental Floss. You can sometimes catch Crasta at CUE Records.
